Description
2300 point one day tournament! This tournament will be using the 2023 US Masters Rules pack as a guideline.
Companion App event code: cGbDKcnDwd (please copy and paste this into the companion app for ease of use.)
Doors open at 10:00am; dice roll at 10:15am
Entry fee is $20 all of which goes directly into store credit prize support! (Store will also add an additional 25% of entry fee for prize support) The store will also be providing lunch!

Rules for event:
Allies will not be allowed.
Withdraw will be allowed with the -1 to hit modifier.
Army Lists are built to 2300 points using the Kings of War core rulebook (Big Red Rulebook) and Mantic App. Any updates made after May 1st will not be in effect for this event. This includes, but is not limited to, Faqs/Errata, new armies, new units/profiles, updated unit profiles, ect..
Twilight Kin will not be allowed
Scenarios will be determined out of this pool: Dominate, Invade, Control, Loot, Pillage, Plunder, Raze and Salt the Earth. The exact scenarios for each match won’t be revealed until the day of the event, so playtest using those eight scenarios.
Scoring will be done using the BlackJack scoring system. Winner takes 14 points, loser 7, draw is 10 each, then add and subtract up to 4 points based on scenario objectives, also add and subtract up to 3 points based on attrition.
For Sportsmanship, after each round, you will need to complete a Sportsmanship Checklist about your opponent during that game using the tournament software. There will also be a form at the end of each day asking for your favorite opponent. See below:
After each round, there is a Sportsmanship Checklist with the following yes/no questions:
- Was your opponent on time to the game?
- Did your opponent have the necessary items to play? (books, dice, army lists, measurement tools, etc.)
- Did your opponent play a clean, competitive game? (Measure accurately, pivot correctly, etc.)
- Was your opponent gracious in the ups and downs during and after the game?
- Do you think you would enjoy playing this opponent again?
- Did your opponent have the necessary items to play? (books, dice, army lists, measurement tools, etc.)
- Did your opponent play a clean, competitive game? (Measure accurately, pivot correctly, etc.)

Each of these questions that you answer ‘yes’ are worth 2 points toward your opponent’s Sportsmanship Score. Similarly, each of these questions that your opponent answers ‘yes’ for you are worth 2 points, giving your opponent 10 potential points each round for good sportsmanship. (30 possible points in total for all 3 games)
Paint will be judged via rubric (self reported).
Please submit lists to in the companion app on or before June 16th for bonus Sportsmanship scores.
