Description
The Alamo GT is celebrating its twenty-first consecutive year of running Fantasy battles in a dive bar in downtown San Antonio, making it the longest constantly-running Grand Tournament in the United States (because Texas didn't care about COVID by November).
The Alamo field is divided into two brackets - the Alamo Legends bracket, and the Texians bracket. The Alamo Legends Bracket is open to the first thirty-two (32) people signed up and paid for it. These players will be seeded (see below), and matched up in a single elimination tournament to determine the one true master of the Alamo! After a player loses a game in the Alamo Legends Bracket, they will fall down into the Texians bracket, where every other award will be determined. The event is also a fundraiser for Extra Life, a charity that helps children and their family who are having trouble paying for medical care.
