Kings of War 4th Edition Event: The Pilgrimage

After Crossroads powered through the weekend, we are now 6-Weeks out from The Pilgrimage, so expect the marketing machine to step into high gear. After doing some door-to-door selling this weekend at Crossroads I have 32 relatively firm names on my list with many more expected so its shaping out to be a real banger send off to the calendar year, so if you are thinking about it, get signed up (link below).

Some key bullet points for the event

1) Held Nov 6-9th in Cherry Hill, NJ (basically Philly)

2) 2300pts as that seems to be a good spot.

3) With Masters being in the Northeast, I believe this event is a Dual-Qualifier for the Northeast, so this is a chance to scoop up some more masters qualifying points. Mid-Atlantic you get your points as normal.

4) [n] restrictions for lists are ARMY wide, so if its [2] Komodons, you only get two, regardless of the number of battalions.

5) There will be 2 Scenarios and 2 Maps to be chosen each round, so you have some opportunities to influence what and where you play

6) I am thinking about hgt 5 hills, and to be sure, one of your map choices is going to be much worse/better, so there should be some unique terrain options than the norm.

7) Devastated units required to roll a nerve check are removed, no nerve required. The ACO rule is in effect so while this does not eliminate the Dbl-1 rule, it may ease some angst it causes.

Lunch provided both days, we have the full venue, so snacks/water and stuff will be free.

9) We are not at a hotel, but many options in the area allow you to pick and choose your preference.

10) This is the last event in the calendar year, so get your KoW on before you hibernate until Dead of Winter.

I will be accosting the folks I talked to already, but if you haven't done so, please send your payment in as per the players pack, so we can start dong all the things we need to do to pay for the event space and accoutrements.
